Since September 2021, Cat Game has held sales of old event rooms as part of Throwback Thursday Sales. The sales are divided into two packs sold simultaneously and usually last 48hrs though they can sometimes run longer, such as 96hrs. The sales began due to players regularly asking for old events to be re-held.
The first pack comes with a Secret or Legendary Cat from the room and a Premium Key, for players who don’t have the room, buying this pack will unlock the room for them. It can be purchased for $14.99 USD. However, the player will still have to use Premium Keys to spin the Premium Basket to get the rest of cats and decorations from the room. Special Deluxe packs might also include gems and the rooms wall decoration.
The second, much cheaper, pack comes with a Common Cat from the room and is only available for players who were not playing during the event. It can be purchased for $7.99 USD. The player will still have to use Premium Keys to spin the Premium Basket to get the rest of cats and decorations from the room. Some Throwback Thursday Sales don’t occur on Thursday, and instead take place on a special holiday and so are called just Throwback Sales. All sales can reoccur at a later date, often as part of Bundle Set sale.
Rooms sold as Throwback Sales can still be gained through repeat events.
